The current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is impacting everyone’s lives. While lives will continue to change in the near term, life also must go on. Part of that is how we are all working together to get through it. That’s why the Region Energy team is delighted to help St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, NJ by urgently installing two propane-fueled tent heaters to be used in setting up vital coronavirus testing tents. Installation charges and tank rental fees were waived for this critical healthcare initiative. Our team will be monitoring fuel usage and are ready to provide refills as soon as required to keep these important testing facilities up and running.

The pandemic situation is also forcing us all to rethink how we get vital foodstuffs and feed our families. Since dining out or delivery is not an option for many, there has been increased traffic to our Hackettstown, NJ location to refill propane tanks used to fire up household BBQs and cook at home. So far, our team has been able to meet the growing demand, refilling tanks while establishing strict CDC mandated coronavirus safety protocols, including appropriate ‘social distancing’ rules and employees using hand sanitizers, wipes and gloves in any refilling procedures.

Please note that due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have changed our tank refill day to Friday only from 7:30am until 4:30pm at our location on 8 Russling Road, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
